The Library is a modern center of learning located in the very heart of Cross Keys Middle School. With more than 20,000 volumes and a collection of video, audio and computer software, the Library is open before and after school and during every class period for student research, class assignments, computer work and leisure reading. The main computer operating system is Macintosh-based, with the Alexandria circulation and inventory system. The main ethernet computer network hub is located in the Library control area and serves all of the classrooms in the school. A 24-station computer lab occupies one wing of the Library. The in-school television network is based in the media center adjacent to the Library. The Library contains a law collection donated by a local attorney. |
