The Physical Education Program at Cross Keys Middle School has received an Exemplary Gold Physical Education Program Award from the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Health and the Missouri Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

The middle school physical education experience provides learning experiences that will help students improve their fitness level, self-image, decision-making skills and understanding of how the body benefits from activity. Cross Keys students participate in the Physical Best Test, a year-long challenge where students discover how their achievements relate to other students of the same age on a national level.

Cross Keys also offers an intramural program for students.
