Text Box: Combs Spelling Bee . . . Congratulations to those 4th thru 6th graders who participated in the spelling bee on January 31st. Champions were: 4th grade: Samantha Boschert 5th grade: Darby Dachroeden 6th grade: Emily Hatina Building Champion: Darby Dachroeden These students will participate in our district Spelling Bee Competition for their grade level and Darby will represent our school in a separate competition as our building champion. If you are not sure if you paid already, please call Mrs. Vaughn in the school office, 831-0411 Text Box: Scholar Bowl Team! ~by Mr. Waller On January 12, 2006, the Scholar Bowl team had their first competition. The team was led by captains Kaitlin Carpenter and George Peters. Other members included Jennifer Boston, Darby Dachroeden, Derrius Pate and Candice Love. The team had the second highest score in the district. Unfortunately, the team that had the highest score was in our grouping. We compete again on February 9th and our final competition is on March 11th. Congratulations to our team members and best of luck to you in your future competitions!! Continue to make us proud!
