Shirts

• White or navy blue shirts with collars, such as a polo, oxford, or dress shirt (no logos required)

• Information on school spirit color shirts will be available from your child's school

• FFSD cardigan, vest, fleeces, or blazers may also be worn

Bottoms

• Navy blue shorts, pants, slacks, skirt, skorts or jumper

• Khaki shorts, pants, slacks, skirt, skorts or jumper
• Black shorts, pants, slacks, skirt, or skorts

• FFSD Red/Navy Blue Plaid skirt, skorts or jumper

STEAM Middle/STEAM High have different uniform requirements.

*Your child’s school may add additional spirit wear colors, grade-level uniform colors, or other uniform requirements. Be on the lookout for more information from your child’s school before school starts. Please check with your child's school for specific uniform options and school colors.

As part of the District’s comprehensive safety and security plan, all Pre K-12th grade students are required to have clear bookbags. The safety and security plan called CUBES stands for clear Communication, clear Understanding, clear Bookbags, clear Expectations, and clear Supports.

Bookbag requirement for grades Pre K-12:

• Clear Bookbags ( 16 in. tall x 12 in. wide x 6 in deep)
• Small pouch/wristlet for personal items if needed (5.5 in. x 4 in. and does not have to be clear)

Student purchased bookbags must meet the following specifications:

• The bookbag must be at least 16 inches tall X 12 inches wide X 6 inches deep
• The bookbag must be completely clear, with the exception of the straps, zippers, and small manufacturer label
• Transparent but tinted or opaque bookbags are not permitted
• Logos, stickers, or other attachments that obstruct the view into the bookbag are not permitted
• Mesh may only cover a side pouch but may not cover the whole bookbag
• No bookbag or bag may be worn under a coat or jacket

Ferguson-Florissant has been a phone-free space for middle and high school students during the school day since the 2023-24 school year. A new Missouri law now requires a complete ban on the use of cell phones and personal electronic devices during the school day for all students beginning the 2025-26 school year. More information about what this means will be shared before the first day of school, so be sure to watch for updates, including more details from your child’s school.

To make sure your child is ready to start school on August 24, please complete the online registration and annual verification process as soon as possible. Delays in registration can mean a delayed start for your student.

All families, new and returning, must upload proof of residency for the 2026-2027 school year. Even if you have registered in the past, you must re-upload your current residency documents.

Once you complete registration online, it could take 48 hours to verify documents, so don’t wait. Start now to avoid any delays!

Current families - Begin here: FFSD Infinite Campus Parent Portal

-When you log into the Parent Portal, click More on the Left-Hand Side of the Menu, then select Online Registration, then Existing Student Registration, then Continue.

PLEASE DO NOT CREATE A NEW PARENT PORTAL IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE ESTABLISHED.

New families - Begin here: FFSD New Family Registration

On the admission page, there is a helpful checklist with everything you’ll need, including:

• Two forms of proof of residency
   
• A valid parent/guardian ID
   
• Birth certificate and immunization records (for new students)
