Public Records Request
Public Records Request
The District complies with the Missouri Sunshine Law (Chapter 610, RSMo), which ensures public access to governmental records and meetings. Members of the public may request access to District records in accordance with state law.
Public records requests must be submitted in writing to jmcwell@fergflor.org and should clearly describe the records being requested. The District will respond to requests within the timeframes required by Missouri law and may charge reasonable fees for research, copying, and other services as permitted by statute.

Bullying and Harassment Reporting
The District is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students and staff. Bullying, harassment, intimidation, and discrimination of any kind are not tolerated in District programs, activities, or on school property.
The District encourages students, families, staff, and community members to report concerns about bullying or harassment so that issues can be addressed promptly and appropriately. Reports can be submitted confidentially through the District’s reporting system.
All reports are taken seriously and investigated in accordance with District policies and applicable laws. The District prohibits retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report or participates in an investigation.

Foster Care and Educational Stability
The District is committed to supporting students in foster care and ensuring educational stability in accordance with state and federal law. Students in foster care have the right to remain in their school of origin when appropriate, receive timely enrollment in new schools when necessary, and access the same educational opportunities and services as all students.
The District works collaboratively with child welfare agencies and caregivers to minimize disruptions to students’ education and promote academic success and well-being.

The District complies with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, which ensures educational stability and support for students experiencing homelessness. Eligible students have the right to immediate enrollment, continued attendance at their school of origin when feasible, access to comparable services, and assistance with transportation and school participation.
The District is committed to identifying and supporting students and families in transition and connecting them with available resources. Families who may qualify for services are encouraged to contact the District for assistance and additional information.

Dear Ferguson-Florissant Community,
Ferguson-Florissant School District (“FFSD”) is writing to provide notice of an incident involving potential unauthorized access to personal information related to certain current and former employees, students, and parents. Protecting the confidentiality, privacy, and security of iinformation is a top priority, and FFSD is acting quickly and diligently to address this matter.
Although FFSD is unaware of any actual or attempted misuse of any information, it is providing notice of this incident out of an abundance of caution.
