Fall Nonpublic Consultation Meeting - August 21, 2024

Consultation is ongoing throughout the school year. However, we ask that nonpublic administrators participate in Fall consultation to design an equitable program that meets the needs of all students living in the Ferguson-Florissant area.

FALL NONPUBLIC REGISTRATION AND PUBLIC SCHOOL VERIFICATION

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will once again be hosting a Nonpublic webinar to discuss the online Nonpublic Registration and Public School Verification processes. If you are unable to attend live, the webinar will be recorded and posted for future review on DESE's Recorded Webinars page.

Nonpublic Administrators are required to send a list containing the addresses, grade levels and assigned public schools for all students who attend their school and reside in the Ferguson Florissant School District attendance area. No student names are needed.   Please use the student verification address template included in the list of downloadable documents below. This information should be sent to LaTonya Robinson, Federal Programs Financial Coordinator @ lrobinson@fergflor.org.
 
Nonpublic Administrators can use this link to verify student addresses and their assigned public schools in the Ferguson Florissant School District.  
 
Ferguson Florissant School District only accepts Method #1: Free/Reduced Lunch Data or Method #2: Economic Deprivation Survey.

SPRING NONPUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING - April 3, 2024

Consultation is ongoing throughout the school year. However, we ask that nonpublic administrators participate in spring consultation to help us design an equitable program that meets the needs of all students living in the Ferguson-Florissant area.  

If you do not wish to participate, please complete the ESEA Nonpublic Refusal of Funds Affirmation Form  and email the completed form to lrobinson@fergflor.org 


The ESEA Title I,II,III and IV plans are due to DESE annually by June 30.

Allocation emails will be sent to schools in mid-July, pending our receipt of the approved application from DESE.

OMBUDSMAN

To help ensure equitable services and other benefits for eligible private school children, teachers and other educational personnel, and families, a SEA must designate an ombudsman to monitor and enforce ESEA equitable services requirements under both Title I and Title VIII. (ESEA sections 1117(a)(3)(B) and 8501(a)(3)(B).)
