Ferguson-Florissant Continues Upward Trend in Academic Performance and Graduation Rates

FFSD rises in state scores

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) has released the 2025 assessment results, and Ferguson-Florissant School District is celebrating another year of academic growth. This year’s data shows notable gains across the district, with increases in Math, Science, and Social Studies performance.

FFSD’s Annual Performance Report (APR) score rose by 2.75 points, contributing to a total 6.35-point increase over the past two years. With these improvements, Ferguson-Florissant remains the second-highest-performing district in the North/Northwest County region. Students have demonstrated growth across multiple subjects and grade levels, and the results of students, teachers, and staff whose daily work makes this progress possible.

The district’s graduation rate remains strong. FFSD continues an eight-year streak of exceeding 90%, holding steady at 93%, above the Missouri state average of 91%.
