FFSD Community Comes Together for a Successful Back-to-School Fair

Hundreds of Ferguson-Florissant School District students and families kicked off the new school year together at the District’s annual Back-to-School Fair, where community partners, staff, and volunteers helped ensure students were ready for a successful first day of school.

Families were able to access a wide range of resources all under one roof. Attendees explored community booths, completed student registration, received school supplies, connected with school leaders, and learned about programs available throughout the school year.

Students also enjoyed hands-on activities and special experiences throughout the event, including free nail services, books from the library bus, sports equipment, music, and giveaways that kept smiles on faces all day long.

Health and wellness remained an important part of the event as families had access to immunizations and additional community resources, helping students head into the school year healthy and prepared.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as community organizations, district departments, and partners worked together to serve families. Live broadcasts from BOOST Radio 95.5 FM added energy throughout the day, while volunteers and staff welcomed each family with smiles and support.

As the first day of school approaches, the Ferguson-Florissant School District is grateful to every employee, volunteer, community partner, and family who made this year’s Back-to-School Fair a success. Together, we continue building a strong foundation for an outstanding school year.
