November Character Trait of the Month

Students at Mark Twain shared presentations with their peers on the November character trait of the month, gratitude.

Gratitude is an emotion expressing appreciation for what one has as opposed to what one wants.  Gratefulness--and especially the expression of it to others-- is associated with increased energy, optimism, and empathy (Psychology Today).

Each month Mark Twain has a different character trait that students focus on with the goal of helping students become strong leaders with great character.
