Mr. Eric Harris
Principal
Harris has been in education for 28 years and currently serves as the principal at Cross Keys Middle. Prior to that role he served as the principal of McCluer South-Berkeley. Before joining the District, Harris served in East St. Louis School District 189 in various administrator roles. He served as a middle school principal, associate principal, assistant principal and dean of students.
Harris holds a graduate degree in educational leadership and educational system administration from Lindenwood University.

Dr. Myko Hammond-Harris
Assistant Principal
Hammond-Vaughn has been in education for 21 years. She currently serves as an assistant principal at Cross Keys Middle. Prior to that role, she served as the interim principal at Mark Twain Restoration and Re-entry Center. She began her career in the District as an assistant principal at Ferguson Middle for two years. Before coming to the District, she served as an interim principal and assistant principal at Riverview Gardens High School from 2011-2013. She began her career in education as a science teacher serving in Hazelwood, Riverview Gardens, Jennings, and University City School Districts.
She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Maryville University. She has a graduate degree in education administration and an educational specialist degree from Lindenwood University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.
