  • Welcome to Bermuda Elementary School!

    Samohya Stallons, Bermuda Principal

    Mrs. Samohya Stallons

I am thrilled to be a part of the Bermuda family where I serve as the Principal.  I love spending time with my family.  My husband and I have three kids, two dogs and a cat. Creating an environment where students and staff feel they belong is my passion and will be the focus for my work here at Bermuda.  Student and staff ownership and belonging will lead to increased student achievement, appropriate behavior as well as stellar attendance.  Excellence is the standard here at Bermuda!  Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  We can't wait to see how far students will go!

We look forward to working with you and your children this school year!

    Important Reminder About Attendance

Every minute counts. Students who miss instructional days often experience learning difficulties and need to work harder to keep up with their class work. Many times students begin to think school and education are not important. Ultimately, students are developing lifelong attendance habits.

In order to be successful, your child should arrive at 9:05am each morning so that they may eat breakfast prior to school starting at 9:20am. Our school day ends at 4:00pm.  Attendance is recorded for any student who arrives late or leaves school prior to 4:00 pm.  Please avoid scheduling appointments during the school day, if possible.  If your child must see the doctor, please schedule the appointment for early morning or late afternoon so that your child can attend school before or after the appointment.  Again, EVERY MINUTE COUNTS.

If there is anything that we can do to assist in improving your child’s attendance, please do not hesitate to contact us at (314)524-4821.
