Tangie Francwar
Principal

Mrs. Tangie Francwar holds her Specialist Degree and Masters in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University and her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from The University of Missouri at St. Louis.
She is a proud graduate of Berkeley Senior High in the Ferguson Florissant District and served as a curriculum coordinator for ELA, Library Media, and Gifted Services for the district before becoming a principal at Airport Elementary and Combs Elementary.
Mrs. Francwar strives to create a school environment that prepares all students for success in college and in their careers. She will continue to work with the Berkeley school community to create a positive and productive environment for every student every day.

Hello, my name is John Capuano and I am honored to serve as the Dean of Students at Berkeley Intermediate. While this is my first year in the Ferguson Florissant School District, I have worked in public education for many years as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. I look forward to supporting our scholars to ensure they are achieving at the highest level possible and taking the necessary steps to be successful.
In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and reading with my daughter. It's wonderful to be part of the Berkeley family and it's always a great day to be a bulldog! -

Lisa Thomas
Area Coordinator
Lisa Thomas serves as the Special School District Area Coordinator for Berkeley Intermediate, Holman Primary, and Lee Hamilton Intermediate. She has served as an educator and advocate for 21 years. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Lindenwood University, a bachelor’s degree in Education from University of Missouri- St. Louis, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from University of Missouri – Columbia. Mrs. Thomas has dedicated over 25 years to the education and support of individuals and families of persons diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She previously served as a classroom teacher at Ferguson Middle, Halls Ferry Elementary, and McCluer High School.

Victoria Casady
Instructional Support Leader
Dr. Victoria Casady serves Berkeley Elementary as one of its Instructional Support Leaders and has been an educator for 23 years. Dr. Casady is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University with a Doctorate of Teacher Leadership with a focus on integration of curriculum and instruction and a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction. She is also a graduate of Truman State University with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in English.
As an instructional coach, Dr. Casady has supported teachers and students to raise expectations and work hard for success at both Berkeley Elementary and Johnson Wabash Elementary. Her passion is connecting ELA and social studies concepts.

Sharon Paulette-Selvey
Counselor
Sharon Paulette-Selvey serves as counselor at Berkeley Intermediate School. She has been in the field of education for 30+ years with 24 of those years in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Education in Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Throughout the years of educating children, Ms. Paulette-Selvey has had the privilege of serving in the Normandy School District, Venice Public Schools, St. Louis Public School District and the Ferguson-Florissant School District (Bermuda, Walnut Grove, Airport, and Berkeley). She is grateful for the opportunity to support children in their development into lifelong learners and productive citizens in society.

Kimberly Williams
Counselor
Kimberly Williams serves as the School Counselor at Berkeley Elementary School and has been an educator for 15 years. She has served in the Ferguson-Florissant School District since 2005. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Harris-Stowe State University. She has previously taught 3rd - 5th grade. She has a Provisional Certificate in School Counseling and pending (December 2020) a Master of Arts degree in School Counseling at Lindenwood University. She is also a Certified Peer Program Educator.
