
Sheila A. Carves, Founding Principal is a graduate of Lindenwood University with a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
Ms. Carves has 20 years of educational experience and began her teaching career as a third-grade teacher in the Saint Louis Public School District. In 2008, Ms. Carves began serving in the Ferguson-Florissant School District and she was recognized as the Ferguson-Florissant School District's Teacher of the Year in 2016.
She took on her first administrative position as an assistant principal in both elementary and middle schools. Currently, Ms. Carves is honored to serve the Ferguson-Florissant School District as the Founding Principal of Innovation School (2019-2020).
Ms. Carves believes her why is to inform, inspire, and impart others so they may discover and release their gifts to impact the world.
