Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Calcari has taught in the Department of Education at Fontbonne University for 12 years and at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for two years. She has studied in a Doctoral Program at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
Stephanie Calcari currently serves as Instructional Support Leader (ISL) at Holman Primary School. She has served the Ferguson-Florissant School District as ISL at Airport Elementary from 2016-2019 and since 1996 as a first-grade teacher, Reading Recovery Teacher, Reading Specialist and Instructional Coach at Wedgwood Elementary. Mrs. Calcari has been a facilitator for the district’s New Teacher Induction and Mentoring program.
Mrs. Calcari is passionate about her own teaching and learning as well as that of her colleagues and students. She is dedicated to supporting the professional learning of teachers, increasing student achievement, and creating a climate of collegial collaboration and data analysis.
