My name is Dawn Orlando. I am the Office Manager and Secretary to the principal at Wedgwood Sixth Grade Center. This will be my 12th school year with the Ferguson Florissant School District. I have spent 10 of those 11 years at Wedgwood and one year at Commons Lane.   I am here to support all students and their families with any questions or concerns that you may have. I can help with the understanding of schedules, processes, and overall transition to middle school. If a Junior Star or parent has any questions, please let me know. I will answer the questions myself or connect you with the person who can help! Consider me the Customer Service Department of Wedgwood Sixth Grade Center. I am the parent of a former FFSD student myself.  My daughter is 21 years old and is a 2021 graduate from Marquette Catholic High School in Alton, IL. Before that she was an FFSD student, she started in the Parents as Teachers program and then moved on to FFSD Early Ed, Robinwood Elementary and Cross Keys Middle School. She is currently starting her 4th and last year at Maryville University, studying biology and works in the pathology lab at Mercy Hospital.
I am a long-time Florissant resident and an active member of the community.  My motto is to treat parents with the same respect that I, as a parent would expect to be treated with!  I am ALWAYS happy to help! Please call or email me with any questions or concerns. 

Hello and welcome to Wedgwood Sixth Grade Center.  My name is Mrs. Gardner and I’m the Registrar/ Attendance Secretary. This will be my 10th year here  at Wedgwood.  I can assist you with record requests and attendance matters.  I’m often the voice you hear on the other end of a phone asking about your child's attendance so that I can ensure his/her records are accurate. If your child is ever absent for an appointment, you will send any notes or documentation to me.  Please call me with all your absentee information and I will make your child's teacher aware. I am happy to help in any way that I can. 

Welcome to Wedgwood 6th Grade Center, Junior Stars! I am Mrs. Bears and this is my 7th year here at Wedgwood. I am the secretary to our awesome Assistant Principal, Dr. Eye, and I am here to help you in any way I can! Some of the things I do at Wedgwood are make your student IDs, set up and supply the school PBIS store, assist with attendance, as well as discipline. I also assist our staff by making copies, laminating, providing any clerical support they may need from day to day, and filling in as a Guest Teacher from time to time. I think of Wedgwood as my home away from home. I enjoy reading, especially dystopian literature, playing Minecraft with my son, and I absolutely love everything and anything related to Harry Potter.
