Mr. Isaiah Melendez
Building Princpal
Melendez is principal at McCluer and previously served as the principal/director of Restoration and Wellness Center at Mark Twain. Prior to that he served as an assistant principal at Normandy High School. Melendez began his career in education as a social studies teacher for six years at KIPP Inspire Academy, Ritenour School District, and St. Louis Public Schools before transitioning to leadership roles as the assistant principal at Berkeley Middle and Cross Keys Middle.
Melendez is pursuing his doctorate from Missouri Baptist University. He holds a master’s degree in educational administration and an educational specialist degree in school administration, and a bachelor’s degree from Missouri Baptist University.

Ms. Iris McClendon

McClendon has been in education for 15 years, previously served as a high school counselor at McCluer for five years. Prior to that role, McClendon has served in the Ferguson-Florissant School District as a teacher for six years at Holman and Halls Ferry Elementary. McClendon started her career in education as a teacher at Imagine Academy of Environmental Science and Math and Webster Groves High School.
She holds an educational specialist degree in education administration from Lindenwood University. She earned a master’s degree in counseling and a bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University.

Dr. Matt Mooney

Mooney has been in education for 15 years. He currently serves as the 11th Grade Principal. Prior to that role, he served as in Instructional Support Leader at Cross Keys Middle and as an assistant principal in Wright City School District. He began his career in education serving as a middle school math teacher for seven years in Hazelwood School District.
He holds a doctorate in education administration from Lindenwood University. He has a master’s degree in school administration from Lindenwood University and a master’s degree in teaching from Webster University. He holds two bachelor’s degrees in history and education from University of Missouri-Columbia.

Mr. David Aguilar
Assistant Principal I Class of 2027
Aguilar has been in education for 11 years all in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. He currently serves as 9th Grade/Freshmen Academy Principal at McCluer. Prior to that role, he served as a science teacher at McCluer for nine years.
He holds a master’s degree from William Woods University. He has an educational specialist degree from Arkansas State University. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Mr. Dave Kastrup
Director Athletics and Activities
Kastrup is a product of the Ferguson-Florissant School District and a graduate of Arkansas State-Jonesboro with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. Mr. Kastrup also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Lindenwood University.
Mr. Kastrup Served the Ferguson Florissant School District and McCluer North High School for nine years as a Teacher and 10 years as a Football and Track coach before taking over as the Athletic Director at McCluer High School in 2017. During the nine years teaching he taught Physical Education and Industrial Arts, Project Lead the Way.
Mr. Kastrup supports teachers, students, coaches, parents, and the community by setting high expectations and constantly working to integrate interscholastic activities into the overall educational program at McCluer High School. He believes the playing field or court is a classroom and learning should never stop even after the bells are done ringing for the day.

Ms. Angie Williams
SSD Area Coordinator
Williams grew up in Frostwood and attended the Ferguson Florissant School District. She is a proud alumnus of Berkeley Sr High School. Prior to starting her career in special education, Ms Williams served in the united States Army, where she had the opportunity to live and travel abroad. Her most memorable experiences were her visit to Dachau Jewish Concentration Camp and East Berlin prior to the demise of the Berlin Wall in 1991.
Ms. Williams’ teaching experience focused on students receiving special education services in kindergarten through 12th grade, until she was promoted to an Area Coordinator in 2006.
Ms. Williams’ core belief is grounded in the African Proverbs, “It Takes A Whole Village to Raise A Child”, which has allowed Ms. Williams to encourage all students to be successful.

Ms Williams currently holds her specialist degree in Education Leadership from Webster University. Ms Williams resides in Florissant.
