Ms. Nicole Burnett
Principal
Hello Panther Families,
I was welcomed into the Ferguson-Florissant School District in the 2024-25 school year and I am honored to serve as your building principal. I’ve been a part of numerous conversations with the school community and have come to understand the depth of love for our scholars and their families from individuals within the building and our surrounding neighborhoods, the level of passion for the work that is done at Parker Road, and the intensity in which we strive to make sure all scholars are valued and experience success. Our house is built on a foundation of collaboration and through this amazing partnership we thrive. It excites me to be a part of a learning community filled with opportunities for children to grow emotionally, academically, and socially. The fact that families are active participants in this journey is energizing.
Parker Road serves students in preschool through second grade, and we do not take the responsibility of providing the foundation for future learning lightly. We understand the importance of families as a child's first teacher and we value the partnership between home and school. We realize and work with the understanding that it takes every member of our entire village to teach and continuously encourage every scholar to learn to read, learn mathematical concepts, and develop social skills that will support future aspirations. A great deal of our work is creating an environment where children learn the skills to not only express their thoughts but to challenge the thinking of others in a way that expands learning for all. We focus on being respectful, kind, and safe. Students learn how to identify an overall goal and the steps to take in order to achieve it. We believe these skills are important life skills.
We are working diligently to create a MODEL Primary School in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. The entire staff is confident that with your support we can achieve this goal, because the characteristics listed below are what defines our Panther Family.
