Mrs. Maggi is a dedicated and passionate music teacher with an impressive 30 years of experience in education, 29 of which have been spent in the Ferguson-Florissant district. Originally from Minnesota, she moved to the St. Louis area after completing her college education. Before joining Duchesne, Mrs. Maggi taught at Griffith Elementary for 23 years, where she honed her skills in nurturing young musicians.

Holding a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction, Mrs. Maggi is committed to helping her students grow as musicians. She finds joy in sharing music with her students and creating memorable performances that they can share with their loved ones.

Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Maggi enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two children. Her daughter, Chandra, just graduated from college and has her music teaching certificate, while her son, Dean, recently graduated from high school and is headed to Illinois Wesleyan University.

In her free time, Mrs. Maggi loves to bake, sing, and hike, embracing the beauty of nature and the joy of family.

With her extensive experience and deep love for music, Mrs. Maggi is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians at Duchesne.
