My Brother’s Keeper Induction Ceremony
On Wednesday, May 16, 14 students from all three high schools were inducted into the Ferguson-Florissant School District’s new district-wide mentoring initiative, My Brother’s Keeper. The initiative is inspired by former President of the United States, Barack Obama’s program, My Brother’s Keeper. The goal of the program is to equip young high school men with the tools necessary to become effective leaders, grow, build networking skills, communicate and speak with eloquence, and to build a bond between their fellow brothers of the program to encourage and uplift each other.
The ceremony was led by the students in the program and introduced each presenter throughout the evening, including guest speaker and Mr. Wes Hall. Congratulations to all of the students who have been inducted into the My Brother’s Keeper program.
