Ms. Magretta Nelson is an experienced and passionate Kindergarten teacher who brings a vibrant blend of arts and education to her classroom. Growing up in St. Louis city, Ms. Nelson attended a Visual & Performance Arts school from grades 4-11 before graduating from Health Careers. In her sophomore year of college, she discovered her true calling and changed her major to Early Childhood Education, eventually completing her Master’s degree in 2014.

With a deep love for music and the arts, Ms. Nelson infuses creativity into her teaching. She enjoys reading books and cherishes time spent with friends and family. Her favorite cuisine is Mexican, and she has a sweet spot for chocolate. Ms. Nelson is also a movie enthusiast, with "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" being her all-time favorite.

Ms. Nelson is a proud mother of two sons, aged 31 and 16. She also has a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter, and a bonus grandson, making her family life full and joyful.
