Mrs. Janey Beene is a dedicated Building Aide at Duchesne, serving as an office assistant to Mrs. Joycie Terry and a member of the attendance team. She plays a vital role in supporting students during recess, breakfast, and lunch, as well as managing arrival and dismissal, daily attendance, and office procedures. Additionally, she is a certified substitute teacher.

Growing up in Florissant, Missouri, Mrs. Beene attended Duchesne Elementary School for Pre-K through 6th grade, followed by middle school at Ferguson Middle School, and graduated from McCluer Senior High School in 2002. She is grateful to work in the community that shaped her, pouring love back into a school and community she holds dear.

Mrs. Beene has a passion for Mexican food, Neapolitan pizza, and Doozle's. She shares her home with two dogs, a Plott Hound named Macey and a Yorkie named Cocoa. She loves to travel, especially to Mexico or anywhere with a beach. Along with her husband, she has a blended family of five kids: Preston (25), Savanna (22), Aubrey (21), McKenna (20), and Jordyn (17). In her free time, Mrs. Beene enjoys crafting and spending time outdoors at her property in New Florence, Missouri.
