Dr. Elizabeth Nelson
Dr. Elizabeth Nelson has served in the Ferguson-Florissant School District since 2015 having previously served as an Assistant Principal at McCluer North High School. Prior to that role, Dr. Nelson served in numerous positions in the District as the Learning Through Internships Coordinator at Innovation High School, an alternative programs coordinator, curriculum coordinator, and English teacher.
Before joining the District, she served as the Interim Assistant Principal at Francis Howell Union Alternative High School in Francis Howell School District. She started her career in education as an English teacher at Jennings High School and as a middle school English teacher in the Warrenton School District. She has also served as a speech/debate coach and varsity cheerleading coach.
Dr. Nelson holds a doctorate in education from Lindenwood University. She earned a Masters of Arts in Multicultural English Literature and Language from Heritage University. She also holds a master’s degree in educational administration and a master’s degree in teaching from Lindenwood University. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University.
