Dr. Heather Carroll

Dr. Heather Carroll is a graduate of Maryville University with a doctorate degree in education, an educational specialist in educational leadership and a Master of Arts In Education from Webster University. Dr. Carroll earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Dr. Carroll has served the Ferguson-Florissant School District since 2005 starting as a teacher at Walnut Grove Elementary. During her time with the District, Dr. Carroll also has served the District as an interim assistant principal, instructional coach, new hire and mentor program facilitator, and interim building principal. Dr. Carroll currently serves as an administrative intern.

Dr. Carroll is a life-long learner who strives to foster that same excitement for learning in colleagues, students, families, and the community.

Mrs. Christy Brooks

Mrs. Christy Brooks is a graduate of Maryville University with a bachelor's in Elementary Education with a concentration in mathematics. Mrs. Brooks received her Master of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. She graduated from Lindenwood University in Dec. 2016 with an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership with emphasis as an elementary mathematics specialist. Soon after, Mrs. Brooks returned to Lindenwood University where she earned a second masters degree in Educational Administration.

Mrs. Brooks has served the Ferguson-Florissant School District since 2014 at Halls Ferry Elementary School as a fifth-grade ELA and sixth-grade math and science teacher. She has also served on the math curriculum writing team and as a facilitator to FFSD's 1st Year Elementary Teachers. Mrs. Brooks began her teaching career in 2000 in the Parkway School District and taught for the Wentzville School district from 2004-2010.

Mrs. Brooks also has experience as a post-secondary instructor and as a corporate trainer. Her role as an instructional support leader is to support teachers with research-based instructional practices so they will continue to achieve high standards of excellence.
