Jeff Tandler has been selected as the interim principal at STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley High School. Tandler is currently in his eighth year with Ferguson-Florissant School District and has served as the assistant principal at STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley, where he has served since 2020. Prior to becoming an administrator at STEAM Academy, Jeff served the district as an assistant principal at the secondary level and as an interim principal at the elementary level. Prior to joining the district, Tandler started in the Francis Howell School District as a theatre and English teacher before transitioning to a leadership role as an administrative intern as part of the FHSD LEAP Program.
Tandler is pursuing his doctorate from Maryville University. He holds a master’s degree in secondary education, an educational specialist degree in school administration, and a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri - St. Louis.

Hope Sutton
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Sutton has served the Ferguson-Florissant School District since 2007. She was previously the instructional support leader at Johnson-Wabash 6th Grade Center since 2021. Prior to that role, Sutton served the District as a science teacher at Cross Keys Middle for 15 years and served as the science department chairperson from 2017-2021. Before joining the District, Sutton started as a classroom teacher in the Unified School District 500 in Kansas City, KS.
Sutton holds an education specialist degree from Arkansas State University. She holds a master’s degree in science curriculum and instruction from Missouri Baptist University and a bachelor’s degree from Lindenwood University.

Keith Rhodes

Coach Rhodes returns to STEAM High at MS-B for the 2021/2022 school year after one year as Athletics/Activities Coordinator at our sister school McCluer North.
Coach Rhodes spent over 10 years teaching math and coaching track at McCluer South-Berkeley High School before moving into the Athletic Director position, and then remained in that same position when MS-B became STEAM High.
