Ms. J. Andrade

Ms. Jennifer J. Andrade  serves as  Principal of Walnut Grove and has been an educator for 17 years. She has served in FFSD since 2002 and holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lindenwood University as well as bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Business from Elmhurst College.  She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in education at Maryville University.


Ms. Andrade is a graduate of the National Institute of School Leadership, has completed intensive PBIS training and served as chair of the districts Tiered Intervention Leadership Team.   Ms. Andrade previously served as Assistant Principal at McCluer High School and as Dean of Students at Ferguson Middle School. 

Since beginning her leadership as Principal, Ms. Andrade has worked closely with staff, students and parents implementing a Positive Behavior Program to reward and reinforce appropriate school behavior and developed a building-wide reading block to increase reading performance. Jennifer is forward thinking in her leadership working hand in hand with teacher leaders throughout the year to implement a Comprehensive integrated 3-tiered model of prevention to address Walnut Grove students’ academic, behavioral, and social needs.

Mrs. L. Dailey

Mrs. Dailey, graduate of UMSL with Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership, Master's of Education in Secondary Education;   Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville Bachelor's in Education with emphasis in secondary Mathematics, minor in Chemistry.
 
Ms. Dailey has served the Ferguson -Florissant School District since 1996 starting as a teacher at McCluer North High School.  She then became one of the Assistant Principals at Cross Keys Middle School in 2002 - 2010, and again 2011 - present, with one year 2010-2011 as Assistant Principal at McCluer 
North. Prior to coming to Ferguson-Florissant School District, she was a math teacher and alternative school teacher in University City School District.  
 
Mrs. Dailey supports students, parents and staff in the educational process by establishing long - lasting relationships that create an environment conducive to  learning. Her guiding light comes from her most favorite educational quote "kids don't learn from people they don't like" - Rita Pierson.  Mrs. Dailey expects the best, wants the best and inspires to be the best on a daily basis for all children.  She has been a big proponent of the Ferguson - Florissant School District and all of her children have attended district schools since her joining as a staff member.
