The Commons Lane Choir is made up of 3rd-6th grade students. Rehearsals are held once each week before school from 7:45-8:15 am. (usually on Tuesday). No audition is required. However, students must come prepared to sing, faithfully attend practices and concerts, and show respectful behavior. Singing in choir can build confidence, poise, and self-esteem. Students learn to sing a variety of musical styles and learn how to function in an ensemble. Typically, the choir sings twice each school year: once in December and again in the spring. After each concert (at the next regularly-schedule rehearsal) choir members receive special sweet treats. All choir members who sing in both concerts also receive a certificate at the end-of-the-year awards assembly. Love to sing and perform? Come join us!
