Mrs. Goldstein

Mrs. Lisa Goldstein is beginning her seventeenth year teaching in the Ferguson-Florissant School District.  Sixteen of those years have been spent here at Robinwood as a third and fourth grade teacher.  She is proud to be a part of the Robinwood family.  Go Rockets!  Mrs. Goldstein attended the Ferguson-Florissant School District from kindergarten until she graduated from McCluer North in 1999.  She is happy to be serving in the district that she calls home.  Mrs. Goldstein earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2003 and her Master’s of Arts in Education from Lindenwood University in 2009.

Mrs. Goldstein is passionate about character education and believes in building a strong classroom community and fostering student and family relationships in order to lay the groundwork for an effective academic learning environment.   She seeks to inspire, nurture, guide, love, educate the whole child, give back, model, influence lives, care, and lead lives to a bright future full of many successes.Mrs. Goldstein works hard to offer learning in a variety of ways. She works to  help children develop a love for learning by providing them with engaging lessons, a chance to be themselves, and take ownership in their learning experience.  She is a true believer in “each child as your own” and tells her class every year that she has two kids at home, plus however many in her classroom home.

Mrs. Goldstein has served on a number of district committees; Curriculum Advisory, Teacher Advisory, PBIS (positive behavior intervention supports), SELT (student expectations leadership team), and instructional leadership and building teams.  At Robinwood Mrs. Goldstein has run Student Council (StuCo) for over 10 years, was a teacher leader in the Science Club, Danny’s Garden, NEA teacher representative, and PBIS to name a few.  She enjoys being actively involved in school, but can also be found watching her sons play sports, baking, hiking, reading, spending time with her family, and loving life.
