Hi, my name is Jacob Brinkman! I will begin my sixth year teaching, all of which have been in the Ferguson-Florissant school district. I have taught grades 3rd-6th and am excited to be returning to 4th. I was previously at Parker Road before moving over to Robinwood. I graduated from the University of Missouri with my B.A. in Elementary Education. I grew up in the area and attended Hazelwood school district K-12.

I have served and led several committees, including SELT (student expectations leadership team), PBIS (positive behavior support system), and ILT (instructional leadership team). I love being actively involved with the kids. I have been a part of GOTR (Girls on the Run), after-school tutoring, Scholar Bowl, Student Council, and others. Teaching is my passion and I want our kids to be successful in all aspects of their lives. I strive to instill my passion for learning. 

Reading is one of my greatest loves. Some of my favorites include Fish in a Tree, the Harry Potter series, and The Fault in Our Stars. In my free time, I listen to music, watch movies, and play volleyball. I recently adopted a Labrador mixed dog named Rover. He has so much energy and keeps me on my toes.
