The Ferguson-Florissant School District established the Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education with a focus on enhancing community support for the school district and expanding resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize opportunities for the district’s students.
The Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education is a component fund of the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation. All gifts to the Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education will qualify as charitable contributions for tax purposes. The Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation will make grants based on the recommendations of the Foundation’s advisory board.
Giving Opportunities
Because our Foundation accepts donations through the St. Louis Community Foundation, we are able to accept many different types of gifts—checks, credit card, ACH, appreciated securities, and even IRA charitable distributions. Mission Statement The Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education will support and generate resources for the Ferguson-Florissant School District to enrich and expand programs needed to meet the district’s stated mission and promote excellence in education.

Goals The Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following focus areas:

1 Strengthen and enrich learning through the financial support of innovative programs.

2 Support best practices to prepare students for future success.

3 Encourage parents, community members and all stakeholders to join with the school system to promote and enhance the educational experience of all students.
