Foundation for Education

  • The Ferguson-Florissant School District established the Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education with a focus on enhancing community support for the school district and expanding resources that enrich teaching, inspire learning, and maximize opportunities for the district’s students.

The Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education will provide much-needed dollars for educational programs and activities that are not funded by the district’s normal operating budget. It will also award grants to recognize innovative instructional practices and provide resources directly to classroom teachers.

An advisory board, consisting of Ferguson-Florissant staff, parents and community members, creates the foundation’s grant criteria and oversees grant awards for teachers and staff.

The Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education is a component fund of the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation. All gifts to the Ferguson-Florissant Foundation for Education will qualify as charitable contributions for tax purposes.  The Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation will make grants based upon the recommendations of the Foundation’s advisory board.

    Giving Opportunities
