McCluer Seniors Receive Alumni Scholarship Award

McCluer is excited to announce the recipients of the annual McCluer 'Class of 1968' Alumni Scholarship. The awardees were announced during a small celebration in the school library earlier this month.
After evaluation and assessment, the selection committee awarded seven seniors this year. The McCluer 'Class of 1968' scholarships are awarded to McCluer seniors with a 2.5 GPA or higher and accepted into an accredited two or 4-year university or vocational program.
After visiting the high school a couple of years ago, Mr. Adrian Steel and several of his classmates wanted to establish a scholarship for students from their alma mater. "Our class is glad to have the opportunity to help graduating seniors as they take the next step in their educational lives," said Steel. "We were fortunate to have attended McCluer, and we wanted to express our appreciation for all that we learned and experienced."
