Board Approves New Administrator

The Ferguson-Florissant School District Board of Education approved the hiring of Jeff Tandler as the interim principal of Halls Ferry Intermediate for the 2022-23 school year, effective July 1, 2022.

Tandler is currently in his eighth year with Ferguson-Florissant School District and is the assistant principal at STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley, where he has served since 2020. Prior to becoming an administrator at STEAM Academy, Jeff served the district, as an assistant principal at the secondary level and as an interim principal at the elementary level. Prior to joining the district, Tandler started in the Francis Howell School District as a theatre and English teacher before transitioning to a leadership role as an administrative intern as part of the FHSD LEAP Program.

Tandler is pursuing his doctorate from Maryville University. He holds a master’s degree in secondary education, an educational specialist degree in school administration, and a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri - St. Louis.
