St. Louis County Department of Public Health Extends Hours for Back-to-School Immunizations

DPH SET TO HOST SATURDAY CLINICS, EXTEND WEEKDAy HOURS FOR BACK-TO-SCHOOL IMMUNIZATIONS

SAINT LOUIS COUNTY, MO (August 5, 2022) - Starting Monday, DPH is expanding back to school immunization efforts by adding additional times at all three clinic locations.

This effort is especially crucial this year because children as young as 6 months old can now get a COVID-19 vaccination along with standard immunizations. This will help parents and guardians keep their children healthy and in school as much as possible. The opportunity to get no-cost immunizations and COVID-19 vaccinations is being offered during normal operating hours of 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. and 1 - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday as well as the following extended hours starting Monday and continuing through Sept. 17:

Special Saturday immunization clinics will be held at John C. Murphy Health Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 13 and Sept. 10.

Students are asked to bring a copy of their shot records with them. The clinics will close and no immunizations/vaccinations will be offered on Labor Day, which is Sept. 5.

Don’t let disease interrupt another school year. Keeping up to date on childhood immunizations and getting a youth COVID-19 vaccine both help your child stay healthy enough to learn. Please visit one of our three DPH clinics for FREE vaccinations and physicals.
