Wedgwood Earns Growth Award After Ranking 3rd Statewide in Math Growth

Ferguson-Florissant School District’s Wedgwood 6th Grade Center was awarded the PRiME Center Growth Award by the PRiME Center at St. Louis University. The recognition was awarded for exceptional student growth in Mathematics during the 2023-24 school year. Wedgwood was 3rd in statewide Mathematics growth for all middle school students. 

“I am incredibly proud of the academic achievement and growth of the students at Wedgwood 6th Grade Center,” said Ferguson-Florissant Chief Academic Officer David Murray. “Congratulations to Principal Larrew and the dedicated educators and support staff at Wedgwood for helping the school become the second-fastest improving middle school in Missouri for math and ranking 14th in reading based on the 2024 Missouri Assessment Program scores. I look forward to seeing what’s ahead for our students and their families.”
