FFSD Probe program provides students with a program that is designed to enhance the learning experiences of elementary students who are identified gifted. The curriculum includes lessons that place an emphasis on research, technology, problem solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, oral and written communication, and building leadership skills. Students study different units such as robotics, Rube Goldberg, Ancient history, World Geography, hands on equations, and computer coding Teachers at the Probe Center are very talented, have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and go the extra mile to present students with lessons that are intellectually stimulating and challenging.
It is a delight to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful students. Their enthusiasm for learning, and respectful and positive attitudes make the Probe Center a wonderful environment for learning. Probe students always come through our doors with so much excitement. It is obvious that the teachers have built great relationships with students and parents.
The Probe staff will continue to work as a team to meet the educational and social needs of our students. Parental involvement is critical to the success of our students. Keeping the lines of communication open is imperative. Parents are encouraged to contact the Probe Center if there are any questions or concerns. We are all looking forward to an outstanding school year.
Yours in education,
