Frequently Asked Questions About FergFlor Care

    What is FergFlor Care?

FergFlor Care is a medical clinic serving Ferguson-Florissant School District. Operated by BarnesCare, a member of BJC, FergFlor Care offers convenient and quality acute care, preventive care, and chronic condition management health services.

Who is eligible to use FergFlor Care?

FergFlor Care is available for Ferguson-Florissant School District’s benefit enrolled employees, their dependents over the age of 2, and pre-Medicare retirees. Patients will be required to present their United Healthcare medical ID card as proof of enrollment. Each month the clinic will be provided a list of employees enrolled in the plan. However, should there be a need to verify eligibility, the clinic might need to contact (with your permission) the Benefits Department for verification. As an example, say an employee just added a child to the coverage, but they have not received a new card yet. Rest assured, verification of coverage does not include a disclosure of why you are at the clinic for treatment. Sharing information of that sort would be a violation of federal law.

How much does it cost to use FergFlor Care?

FergFlor Care is available at no cost to benefit enrolled employees, their families, and pre-Medicare retirees.

Our goal is to keep wait times to a minimum by encouraging patients to schedule appointments for all visits. Typically, same-day appointments will be available.
