Title II – Teacher & Principal Training & Recruiting
The purpose of Title II is to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality and ensure that all teachers are highly qualified.
Title II provides flexibility to address challenges to preparation and qualifications of new teachers, recruitment and hiring, induction, professional development, teacher retention, or the need to train effective school leaders.
Ferguson-Florissant Schools uses Title II funds for staff professional development in core curricular areas, technology, leadership development, and class size reduction.
